Many of our callers have asked for tips on creating their own nursery space at home. While nothing replaces the comfort of mummy’s voice, having a dedicated little space can make your experience even more immersive.
Start simple. A soft blanket, a favourite stuffed toy, and a dummy can transform any corner into a cosy nursery. Add some fairy lights for a warm glow, and you have the beginnings of your very own safe space.
If you want to go further, consider a changing mat, a selection of your favourite nappies, baby powder, and perhaps some plastic pants for that authentic feel. A baby bottle filled with warm milk is the perfect finishing touch.
Then ring mummy. With your nursery set up and mummy’s voice in your ear, you will feel truly little, truly safe, and truly loved.
